Self catering in Southampton - Foredeck Cottage

The cottage is ideal for all types of guests; families, couples, walkers, sailing enthusiasts, explorers or people just trying to get away from it all.

We have tried to make it as comfortable and homely as possible. All rooms are decorated in period style. Additional facilities within the cottage include an extensive library, a small selection of DVD's and video's, charcoal BBQ,

For families with children we have a cot, high chair, stair gates, kids /DVD's & videos, puzzles, games and magazines.

There are fabulous walks on our doorstep. You can follow the riverside path up the river Hamble, stroll along the Solent coastline towards Portsmouth which is part of the Solent Way or head towards the port along Southampton Water to watch the cruise liners.

Sailing enthusiasts are well catered for. There are public moorings within 100m and a public launching area for small boats only 75m away.

There is a large open grass field opposite the cottage, ideal for children with endless energy or for excercising a pet.
